This one's for sweet Daphne!
For those of you who are new to Emerald Sun Creations, we have an on going mission of giving back by donating 10% of every purchase to helping animals of all walks of life. It's our small way of trying to make the world a better and safer place for animals. To those who have recently purchased from my shop, thank you so much for your continued support and helping me continue to make my mission a reality. And with that said, our most recent donation went to a sweet senior doggo named Daphne. Here's Daphne's story.
"Daphne was discovered lying on a rural road, alone and in pain. The passerby took her home, hoping her owner would come forward or someone would. But when no one claimed her, the person eventually listed Daphne as "free" on a yard sale site. Daphne limps and hobbles painfully on her front left leg, suspected to be from a hit-and-run accident. She's battling something serious in her eyes (confirmed by the vet to be Entropion), which are cloudy and have crusty gunk coming out—so much so that her eyes were sealed shut from the goop. And, as if all that weren't enough, separate and distinct from these injuries are Daphne's MAJOR skin issues– as is the rotting smell of infection coming from her mouth."
