About Jose Roberto - “It is believed that a neighbor, who had been vocal about disliking animals and making threats, was responsible for [a vicious attack against Jose]. This innocent kitten, went out to enjoy some fresh air and play and returned with a bloody broken jaw. The suffering this poor kitten has endured is nothing short of a nightmare. The pain was so unbearable that he entered a state of shock, crying, screaming, and unable to close his mouth, leaving his owners feeling utterly helpless. Being from a low-income neighborhood in Nicaragua, their financial circumstances are dire, making it nearly impossible for them to afford the life-saving care that this precious kitty desperately requires.” - Angelitos De Dios
Jose's story is hard to read. When I hear stories like this, all I feel is anger and rage. But I'm happy that we can contribute in a small way to help Jose's family ease the burden of his vet bills.
